Bark Avenue provides professional, friendly, knowledgeable services for dogs, cats and some small exotic animals. We welcome ALL breeds and sizes and we are always willing to work with the more difficult pets as well.
Our Story
Bark Avenue got its start in 2015. Owners Angela and Allen Dove saw a need for a pet grooming business in Honey Brook, and decided to take root in their local community. The decision was also made based on the want for the family to start a new journey that would keep them closer together. A business built by a family to care for your furry family.
Angela always had a dream to start her own pet grooming salon. With her personal passion, extensive background and loving family this dream would become reality. Starting as a small salon, Bark Avenue has blossomed into the business it is today with the continued loyalty and support from our clients and community.
Plans to expand began as the need for more space grew. In 2021 Angela & Allen found the perfect space to move into not far from their start. Wanting to be able to stay within the area, Bark Avenue moved down the road to its new home. With the help of many, the new building was renovated to fit the needs of their clients and business. The glorious new Bark Avenue Pet Grooming Salon opened its doors on July 18th, 2023. With more space came the opportunity to welcome new staff and new clients to our family.
The goal of Bark Avenue has always been to provide professional, friendly, knowledgeable services for dogs, cats and some small exotic pets at a fair price to the local community.

Owner and Groomer
Angela Dove
As the co-founder of Bark Avenue, Angela started her passion in the year 2000, with a particular passion for Poodles and Terriers.
A graduate of the Paragon School of Pet Grooming, she loves creating dramatic before-and-after transformations of our furry friends. Angela has also competed in a grooming competition and enjoys painting and shooting billiards in her spare time. Check out some of her paintings in our lobby!

Salon Manager/Groomer
Stephanie Mann
Stephanie started her grooming career in 2009 with a passion for breeds like Golden Retrievers, Great Pyrenees, and Shar-Peis. She enjoys giving pets a relaxing spa day and transforming their appearance. Stephanie has also worked at two animal hospitals, gaining experience as a Kennel Tech and Veterinary Assistant. She specializes in dog behavior and handling. Outside of grooming, she loves crafting and camping.

Branwyn Parmeter
Branwyn has been grooming dogs since 2020, with a special place in her heart for Cavaliers, Poodles, and Shih Tzus. Certified through PetSmart, she loves the process of cleaning up a dog and making them look their best, all while creating a positive, caring experience for the pet. Branwyn is dedicated to ensuring each dog feels loved and comfortable during their grooming session.
Groomer
Pierce Dove
Pierce Dove has been apart of the Bark Avenue family since 2020 and began his grooming career in October 2023. He has grown fond of working with breeds like Golden Retrievers, Doodles, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels (CKCS). Pierce is dedicated to bringing happiness and comfort to both pets and their owners with each grooming session. Outside of grooming, he enjoys gaming and spending time with friends.

Groomer + Office Assistant
Dani Silva
Dani has been a part of our team since 2020. Since then, she has graduated from Delaware Valley University with her B.S in Conservation & Wildlife Management. She loves working with double coated breeds such as Corgis, Newfoundlands, and Golden Retrievers, but has a soft spot for teeny tiny furry friends. She has owned horses, guinea pigs, hamsters, cats, and dogs! In her spare time, she plays video games, paints, and hangs out with friends. Passionate about grooming as an art form, she loves seeing her creative vision come to life with every pet she works with. She especially loves painting dog nails!

Kendall Dering
Kendall joined our team in August 2023 and has a passion for working with Cavaliers, Pitbulls, adorable mutt cuties, and everything in between. She enjoys the entire grooming experience, from the playful mess of bath time to learning new techniques. With her love of growing in this industry, she is always striving to provide the best care for every pet.
Lead Receptionist
Renee Leonard
Renee joined our team in June 2022 and has been a friendly and welcoming presence at the front desk ever since. While she enjoys meeting and helping people, her true passion lies with animals—making her a perfect fit for our grooming family. Her favorite part of the job is getting to interact with all the pets that come through our doors each day. Outside of work, Renee enjoys playing pool, listening to music, and relaxing at home with her beloved husky and three cats. Her love for animals shines through in everything she does, and we’re lucky to have her as part of our team.
